It replaces the regular headlamp in no time. Since the lamp attaches easily to fabric without leaving marks, you can put it exactly where you need it. (We all know that the headlamp only works if you take off the cap that most people wear on the buck hunt.)
When gutting animals such as wild boar and buck in the dark, we have had two lamps in different places on the body, which has created very good light. At full power, it is like a spotlight, so you have to reduce the power, otherwise you will dazzle each other if there are several of you. There is also a magnet on the back so you can put it in different places both inside and outside the car when loading.
